No Words

She walks in the room

like a starlight in the night

Her smile was so bright

my heart felt like it stumbled

my words was just so jumbled

I felt the intensity to say hi

but it was caught by the word shy

I knew I fell in the love when she said her name

I felt like I was to blame though

as I didn’t respond to her actions of communication

I had missed an opportunity to say something

as she got up and walked away

I will never forget the day

that I held my tongue

for I wish I knew how to vocalize my voice
